WHO ARE WE
Famacêutica AUSTRAL is a wholesale distribution service of pharmaceutical products (medicines, medical devices, food supplements and dermocosmetics).
Farmacêutica AUSTRAL belongs to the EDOL GROUP, which includes Laboratório EDOL – Produtos Farmacêuticos, S.A., VAPP – Veterinária para Animais de Pequeno Porte and GIDE, S.A. Empresa de Prestação de Servições de Consultoria Farmacêutica.

AUSTRAL Pharmaceuticals is headquartered in an industrial zone in Matola, on the outskirts of Maputo.
The warehouse is one of the best in Maputo and disposes of the following features:
- 685m2 with controlled temperature and humidity environment through and HVAC cooling system
- Refrigerated chamber between 2ºC-8ºC
- 170 KVA Generator
- Internal/External video surveillance system
- Microsoft Navision ERP system
- Storage and picking by sectors and aisles
- Clustering in grouping boxes
- Distribution throughout the national territory

Laboratories we work with
Our portfolio includes products from international laboratories, with which we work in partnership, ensuring their distribution, contact with costumers, stock analysis and market evaluation.
Reference Customers
We maintain continuous contact and support to the main reference entities in the health area in Mozambique, namely, Public Hospitals, Health Centers, Private Clinics/Hospitals and Pharmacy Groups.

- The Famacêutica AUSTRAL team is composed by a group of employees with experience in the pharmaceutical, logistics, administrative and commercial areas.
- It is part of the daily work commitment with the results, focus on the sustained growth of the company and respect for the professional ethic.
- Continuous training, development, and team motivation plans are drawn up to maintain the levels of effectiveness and efficiency that our partners are looking for.
- Our commercial team works with several medical specialties and more than 700 clients (Pharmacies/Clinics/Hospitals in Maputo and Matola, as well as frequent trips to Beira, Nampula and Tete Provinces).
